CardiogenLongevity
Khavinson peptide bioregulator studied for cardiovascular tissue.
Overview
Cardiogen is a synthetic tetrapeptide, alanine-glutamate-aspartate-arginine (Ala-Glu-Asp-Arg / AEDR), from Vladimir Khavinson's family of short peptide bioregulators and marketed around heart and cardiovascular tissue. Its published evidence is preclinical and comes almost entirely from the originating group: a cell-culture report that it raises cytoskeletal and nuclear-matrix protein expression in mouse fibroblasts, and review-level discussion of it as a regulator of aging-related signaling in cardiovascular cells. We found no human clinical study of Cardiogen indexed in PubMed. It is not FDA-evaluated and is sold only as a research chemical.
