Overview

Cartalax is a synthetic tripeptide, alanine-glutamate-aspartate (Ala-Glu-Asp / AED), one of Vladimir Khavinson's short peptide bioregulators and marketed for cartilage and joints; its sequence is the first three residues of epitalon. The published work is in vitro: reports that it normalizes aging-associated (senescence) markers in cultured chondrocytes, and effects on aging skin fibroblasts and stem-cell gene expression. We found no human studies and no independent replication outside the originating group's network. It is not FDA-evaluated and is sold only as a research chemical.
