HexarelinGrowth Hormone
Growth-hormone secretagogue studied for GH release.
Overview
Hexarelin is a synthetic growth hormone-releasing hexapeptide (a GHRP) that acts on the ghrelin receptor (GHSR), and it is more potent and chemically more stable than ghrelin itself. Unlike most research peptides it has a real, if dated, human literature: 1990s clinical studies showed strong GH release but also rises in cortisol, ACTH and prolactin, and a partly blunted GH response with repeated dosing. It is also researched for direct heart effects through the CD36 receptor, mainly in animals. It was never approved anywhere, is not FDA-evaluated, and is sold for laboratory research only; nothing here is medical or dosing advice.
