ProstamaxLongevity
Khavinson peptide bioregulator studied for prostate tissue.
Overview
Prostamax is a synthetic tetrapeptide, lysine-glutamate-aspartate-proline (Lys-Glu-Asp-Pro / KEDP), from Vladimir Khavinson's "peptide bioregulator" program at the St. Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology, positioned as a regulator of prostate tissue. Its published record is small and entirely preclinical: rat prostate explant cultures, and chromatin studies on lymphocytes that were drawn from elderly donors and treated in a dish — the donors themselves were never given the peptide. Nearly all of it comes from the Khavinson group and a collaborating Tbilisi lab, there are no human trials, and it is not FDA-evaluated; it is sold only as a research chemical.
