ThymulinLongevity
Zinc-dependent thymic hormone studied for immune and inflammatory signaling.
Overview
Thymulin (historically "facteur thymique serique") is a nine-amino-acid hormone made by the thymus that needs bound zinc to be active, and its blood levels fall with age. It has been researched for immune regulation, anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving effects and links to the hormonal system, almost entirely in animals and cell studies; human work has mainly measured the body's own thymulin. No modern controlled trial of administered thymulin has been published. It is not FDA-evaluated and is sold for laboratory research only; nothing here is medical or dosing advice.
